WWW information is provided, and available for the following subject
   areas:

   Congress
The Congress directory contains files listing the phone and fax
numbers of Congresspersons for all states in the Union, plus
territories with Observer/quasi-Representatives in the U.S.
          House.

   Federal Affairs
The Federal Affairs directory contains text files describing
current or proposed Federal legislation that affects your
Second Amendment rights. Action in both the House of
Representatives and the Senate is tracked here. Combined with
information found in your state's directory (see State
Specific Affairs) you should be able to formulate a good
picture of the legislative scene as it affects you in your
          state and your country.

   State-specific Affairs
The State-specific Affairs directory (abbrev. to STATE)
contains text files describing current or proposed Federal
legislation that affects your Second Amendment rights. Both the
House of Representatives and the Senate are tracked here.
Combined with information found in your state's directory (see
States) you should be able to formulate a good picture of the
legislative scene as it affects you in your state and your
          country.

   Women's Issues
The Women's Issues directory covers events of interest to
women, including Women's Personal Protection seminars, Women's
Introductory and Advanced Hunting Programs, and Women's
Shooting Competition Programs. More and more, women are finding
a voice in the traditionally male-dominated shooting sports and
firearms civil rights areas, and this is the place to seek the
latest, up-to-date information in this rapidly growing segment
          of the shooting population.

   General Firearms Issues
The General Firearms Issues directory contains text files
covering issues not specifically encompassed by the Federal and
State Affairs, Women's Issues, or ILA directories. This
includes informational mailings and opinion pieces, papers on
firearms-related subjects, and other general Second Amendment
writings. It also tracks many of NRA's Sporting and Civic
Program areas, such as Gun Safety Training, Certified
Instructor and Training Counselor programs, Law Enforcement and
Security Firearms Instructor Certification, Hunting Instructor
Education and Skills Development, and the NRA Young Hunter
Marksmanship Program. Combined with the other specialty
directories, it serves to round out NRA's coverage of fireams
          and firearms civil rights issues.

   Institute for Legislative Action
The ILA, NRA's Institute for Legislative Action, provides a
front line of defense against anti-gun legislation. This area
tracks ILA's efforts to wage legislative battles in the cities,
counties, state capitals, and in the halls of the U.S.
Congress. It also outlines ILA's efforts to enact tough
crime-fighting proposals and strengthen state and federal
          criminal justice programs.
