NAM PROGRAMING:



1.  This unit requires a programing adaptor, if you do not have one try

    one of the following:



    Jumper pins 3 and 25 of a standard power cable.



    If the phone has a transportable pack you can wire a 25 pin "D" socket

    to a 25 pin "D" plug, wire it straight through and jump pins 3 and 25.

    Connect this between the tranceiver and transportable pack.  A ribbon

    cable with crimp on "D" connectors makes a convienient adaptor.



2.  Turn power on with pins 3 and 25 jumpered.



3.  Enter * 0 0 0 0 #, the "In Use" lamp will light briefly then the phone

    will display "0", you are now in maintenance mode.



4.  Enter * 1 SND, the "In Use" lamp will light briefly then the phone will

    display "1".



5.  Enter 5 0 SND, the "In Use" lamp will light briefly and the display

    will clear.  You are now in programing mode.



6.  Each data entry can be looked at by pressing RCL followed by the

    location (step) number below.



7.  To store new data enter the value, press STO followed by the location

    (step) number below.  For example to enter a system ID of 00031 enter

    00031 STO 01.  Data can be entered or reviewed in any order.



8.  At any time press STO * * to complete programing and return to

    maintenance mode.



9.  Press END to exit maintenance mode, or turn the power off.
