CL9: Eurochart #47 Statistics
PIC:barclip2.ilbm

CL1:This is the place to go if you want
boring statistics, that take forever
to do and that nobody checks much
anyway. Or not, as it seems like
people actually browse through this.
As you might know, here we list two
things: group and country of the
voters, and compare them against each
other. The group who has most voters
will as usual get free beers from me
at the next party I attend. Last
time, Apathy had done all they could
and manage to muster 12 votes! So, I
had to buy some beers for Leia/Apathy
at the Breakpoint party. Fair enough,
but this time I think IRIS will be the
winning group again, meaning I can get
away with not buying any beers,
mwahah.. Apathy it seems, has fallen
slightly behind votingwise, after the
momentous feat of last time. Anyway,
let's take a look then:

CL1:Zenon CL8:1

CL0:As for the countries of those who
voted, this looks thus:

CL1:Norway CL8:17

CL1:Poland CL8:15

CL1:Germany CL8:11

CL1:Denmark CL8:10

CL1:Sweden CL8:7

CL1:Russia CL8:6

CL1:England CL8:4

CL1:Finland CL8:3

CL1:Belgium CL8:1
CL1:France CL8:1
CL1:Italy CL8:1
CL1:Netherlands CL8:1
CL1:Serbia CL8:1
CL1:USA CL8:1

CL0:Again, it is not surprising that the
most active scene countries in terms
of voters are Norway and Poland.
Neither is it surprising that Germany
and Denmark are close to each other in
terms of voters, although this should
by no means be taken to indicate that
the danish scene is huge or active.
Rather, it is because 8 of the 10
votes from Denmark come from IRIS
members. A bit surprising is the fact
that so 'many' swedish sceners have
decided to vote this time, usually
swedes are not the nicest people
around, when it comes to voting. Most
interesting is the fact that sceners
from Russia keep coming and keep
voting. I hope to see more to the
Russian Amiga scene when it
establishes itself for real.
Otherwise, there is not much left for
me to remark; the numbers speak for
themselves, and by doing this
statistic part for every EC, I give
you the opportunity to see for
yourself whether certain groups or
countries can manage to influence the
actual voting. Apart from that, it
displays what groups might be active,
and what scene countries are the most
populated. With that, I will stop
this article, and hope to see you all
around for the next Eurochart.
