CL9: RELAX, SWAPPING ISN'T DEAD
PIC:barclip2.ilbm

CL4: By Strife/Apathy

CL0:Relax, swapping isn't dead, at least
not as long as my a2000 keyboard still
works.

CL1:Never the less, I can't hide the fact
that 2003 must have been awful for my
friends in the swap scene, I only sent
1 letter during 2003 and I am very
sorry. Earlier I would get angry
phones from my swappers if they didn't
hear from me within a couple of weeks,
I guess you aren't surprised, but I
don't get those kind of phone calls
any more.

CL0:I think the reliable swappers chart
was a very good idea, and I can tell
you that it works, at least it worked
in 2002. I think all the swappers I
contacted back in 2002 answered me
sooner and later. I didn't contact
more than 6-7 guys, but it was very
nice to see that there was actually a
couple of swappers still keeping it
up, which answered me.

CL1:I love it when there is an envelope
with disks for me in my mailbox. It
is for sure on my top ten list of
favourite experiences. Hmmm, that
probably explains why I haven't been
so happy lately, I think I really need
to do some swapping again, real soon!
CL0:In the old days I was really upset if
there was a single day without a
letter for me in my mailbox. I loved
those envelopes, especially if they
were filled with lots of signed crap
and other strange stuff. And if
there's something that hasn't changed
in the last 10 years, it's all the
crap people put into the envelopes
along with the disks. I love it!

CL1:Actually I can feel the desire to
contact my swappers increase for every
word I write for this article. I sure
hope there will be people who will
answer me in 2004 also, I will contact
you once digitalchips#32 is finished,
ok? Maybe I'll just release some crap
production so I have something to send
my swappers before that, I need to
swap and I need it bad!

CL6:(Sorry to ruin your hopes, but
swapping IS dead, and it is even
official now, at least the EC says so.
But I still hope to get angry
phonecalls and letters from swappers
telling me that this is in no way
true. We shall see, look for my
address in the editorial section...
